Experiment results suggest that the sodium houttuyfonate has the functions of resisting myocardial hypertrophy and ventricular hypertrophy, and the mechanism of the sodium houttuyfonate can be related to the inhibition of sympathetic activity, blockage of system activity of feritin-hypertensin-aldosterone, and effect of endocrine factors.
