The invention relates to a method for
grafting a camellia high stock, which is completed by the following steps: (1) the stock is
cut off 40 to 80 cm from the ground, the stock is prevented from tearing when the stock is broken, and the
cut is slightly polished after the stock is broken; (2) according to the size and length of the scion, a single-sided knife is used for
cutting at the fracture ofthe stock, with a little
xylem; (3) the branches of the
cut scion are placed on a wooden board, the opposite side of the
bud is cut from 3 to 5 mm below the base of the
bud and above the cut surface 2cm, a short incision is cut in the base of the other side of the scion to form a 20-30 degree slope, and a 1
bud and 1 leaf scion is formed by
cutting above the bud 5 mm; (4) the long
cutting surfaceof the scion is inward, the scion is inserted into the notch of the stock in a
skin-to-
skin manner, and the cut
skin of the stock covers the short cutting surface of the scion; and (5) a wide plasticfilm strip is used to bind the interface from top to bottom. The beneficial effects of the method are that: the oil tea high stock is used for
grafting, the
survival rate is above 90%, and the new shoots in the same year reach 50 cm or more, and can bloom in two years.
