The method can be used for efficient and rapid seedling establishment of elevated stolons of excellent new strawberry species of Hongyan, Zhangji and the like. According to the novel method, the defect that rooting of stolons formed early is difficult is overcome, and by inducing the early stolons to generate aerial roots and then transplanting the stolons to a substrate and adopting a mode of short-term darkness culture, efficient and rapid seedling establishment of the strawberry stolons is achieved. By means of the novel method, the seedling establishment rate is generally 85%-89% or above, and the advantages of being simple, convenient to operate, high in seedling establishment speed and the like are achieved. Compared with cuttage, the method for inducing the stolons to generate the aerial roots is simple and convenient, and needed time is short and concentrated; the quality of offspring stolon seedlings generated through the method in different times and different batches is high and more stable.

In the method, the stolons of test-tube plantlets of an excellent new variable variety generated by callus differentiation of deep-mountain strawberry petals are induced in the test tube and the virus elimination of the variety is studied by combining high temperature and shoot tips in the test tube to obtain virus-free strawberry seedlings for production. The method comprises the following steps: inducing the stolons of the obtained new variety in a culture medium in the test tube, wherein the induction rate is above 99.5 percent; culturing the test-tube plantlets containing the stolons for 85d in the test tube at the temperature of 56 DEG C, and cutting 1mm of shoot tip to induce shoot tip calluses in the culture medium; then transferring the shoot tip calluses to the culture medium to perform re-differentiation culture of callus seedlings; and detecting the viruses of the regenerated seedlings, wherein the virus elimination rate is 100 percent. A test result shows that the virus elimination method by high-temperature processing in combination with the shoot tips in the test tube can eliminate the viruses completely so as to establish a strawberry virus elimination system.

The method is concretely based on the characteristic that stem nodes of landscape plants can produce adventitious roots and lateral buds and utilizes the characteristic to effectively improve propagation efficiency thereof. The method comprises the following steps: (1) moderately leveling and sufficiently watering a propagation site; (2) putting to-be-propagated stolon maternal plants in order, aligning nodes of every stolon in turn to the greatest extent and then cutting the stolons in batches into stem segments having a singe node; (3) moderately cutting off leaves on single-node stem-segment nodes; (4) uniformly broadcasting single-node stem segments on the propagation site, covering the single-node stem segments with soil about 5 mm thick and moderately watering; and (5) performing spray irrigation quantificationally at regular time or covering with plastic film to keep soil-surface humidity and promote the growth of sprouts of the broadcast stem segments and performing normal management when the sprouts produce 1 to 2 leaves. The method has the advantages of saving a great amount of manpower and money and significantly improving the propagation efficiency of stolon-type landscape ground cover plants, along with high propagation coefficient.
