The invention relates to the technical field of food preservation, and particularly relates to a deoxidization preservative suitable for low-humidity environment and a preparation method thereof. The deoxidization preservative provided by the invention comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 40-70% of reduced iron powder, 1-3% of active carbon, 10-35% of water, 1-2% of water-absorbent resin, 8-15% of silicon dioxide, 0.8-2% of sodium bromide and 2-5% of calcium oxide. The substances are added at different time and stirred uniformly to obtain a finished product.
