The invention relates to a stable load-bearing equatorial
telescope mechanism. The mechanism comprises a
drift angle pedestal, a polar axis,
hour angle pedestal bearings, a counterweight, a
hour angle pedestal,
hour angle locking handles, positioning keys, positioning grooves, a counterweight rod and a polar
telescope, the hour angle pedestal is divided into an upper block and a lower block, the polar axis is fixedly arranged at the middle of the hour angle pedestal, positions, close to the middle of the polar axis, of the upper block and the lower block of the hour angle pedestal are provided with the positioning keys, the middle positions, relative to the positions of the positioning keys, of the polar axis are provided with the two positioning keys, the hour angle pedestal bearings are arranged at two ends of the polar axis, the polar
telescope is arranged below the polar axis, the hour angle locking handles are arranged at the outer sides of the hour angle pedestal bearings rightly above the polar axis, the lower right part of the
drift angle pedestal is provided with the counterweight rod, the counterweight rod is fixedly connected with the
drift angle pedestal, the counterweight is arranged at the lower end of the counterweight rod, and the counterweight has an annular shape and is fixedly connected with the counterweight rod. The stable load-bearing equatorial telescope mechanism has the
advantage of reasonable design, ingenious concept, increase of the stability of an equatorial telescope, and simplicity in operation.
