A manufacturing method and a bonding apparatus for a liquid crystal display device is provided for that makes it possible to expel remaining bubbles from a liquid crystal and to bond an array substrate and a color filter substrate while maintaining their positional relationship. In a step for bonding an array substrate with a liquid crystal applied thereto and a color filter substrate, vacuum holding of only a central retaining region of an upper vacuum chuck of the bonding apparatus is stopped. This causes the central portion of the color filter substrate to come in contact with the array substrate due to its own weight. The contact region is pressed by a holder to secure the positional relationship between the array substrate and the color filter substrate. Thereafter, with the elapse of time, the upper vacuum chuck increases the retaining region for which a vacuum retaining operation is stopped so as to expand the area of contact between the array substrate and the color filter substrate. As a result, bubbles in the liquid crystal are expelled externally.

Thermal-pressure relief device

A thermal-pressure relief device, which has an adapter (20) threaded into the wall of a pressure vessel. The adapter contains an orifice (22) therethrough in line with a recessed cavity (32) which includes a raised stem (34). A blow out member (30) rests on the stem and overlaps the orifice to obstruct communication with the fluid inside the vessel. The blow out member is attached within the cavity by brazing with a filler metal in the form of a temperature responsive amalgam (38), preferably a eutectic alloy. When ambient temperatures are elevated above the melting point of the amalgam the blow out member is released freeing the orifice relieving the pressure within the vessel preventing a sudden structural failure. Optionally a protective cover in the form of a cap (42) with an impact surface (40) contains the blow out member when it separates from the adapter and a number of vents (48) diffuse the fluid from the pressure vessel in a safe direction. Another option for the protective cover is a tube (54) attached to the adapter with fastening means such that when the blow out member is released the conduit provides a safe structurally sound flow path permitting the pressurized fluid to be directed into a safe zone away from the thermal-pressure relief device.

According to the method, the pouring of the crack is saturated by effectively guiding a repair material through a mode of drilling along the crack of the pavement or along a slit obtained by slotting and crack expansion, so that the adhesive force between the repair material and the pavement is increased, and the structural strength of the repaired crack is enhanced; the adhesion area of an integral structure formed by a self hole and the crack is enlarged, and the connection between the repair material and the pavement is only limited to the upper part of a surface layer, so that the connected relation between the repair material and an original pavement is further consolidated. In conclusion, According to the method disclosed by the invention, the capability of resisting the influence of vehicle loads and environmental factors by the asphalt concrete pavement can be greatly improved, the service life of the asphalt concrete pavement can be prolonged, and the maintenance and repair cost of a highway can be outstandingly reduced.

The fiber post of the invention has improved strength, reduced post and core abhesion in application, and avoidances of breakage of tooth posts and failure of restoration caused by stress concentration.
