The invention relates to a strawberry outdoor cultivation method. The method includes the steps of firstly, selection of varieties and seedlings, secondly, land selection and preparation, thirdly, plantation, fourthly, daily management, fifthly, fruiting and harvesting and sixthly,
disease and
pest control. In the step of plantation, the seedlings in the first step are planted at the
air temperature ranging from 15 DEG C to 25 DEG C and the
ground temperature ranging from 13 DEG C to 19 DEG C, after the seedlings are planted, root setting water is fed to the seedlings right away, and the depth of water in furrows is kept within five days after the seedlings are planted. In the step of daily management, within a month after the seedlings are planted, the seedlings are fertilized to facilitate flower
bud differentiation, old leaves and yellow leaves are stripped in time in the stage, and 4 to 6 leaves are kept on each strawberry
seedling; mulching is conducted, namely 25 to 35 days after the seedlings are planted, mulching is conducted in sunny days after dews are dry;
punching is conducted and
fertilizer is applied. In the step of fruiting and harvesting, main flowers and main fruits are reserved, auxiliary flowers are removed, and top application is conducted in time after the first batch of fruits are harvested. In the step of
disease and
pest control, the
leaf spot disease, the gray mold, the
powdery mildew, the
plant louse disease and the leaf
mite disease are prevented, wherein the leaf
mite disease comprises the read
mite disease and the
rust mite disease. Strawberries cultivated through the method are high in growth rate, low in illness rate, early in maturity, attractive in appearance and good in taste.
