Bifenthrin is a pyrethroid insecticide used primarily against the red imported fire ant by influencing its nervous system. It has a high toxicity to aquatic organisms. Although it is listed as a restricted use chemical in the United States, it is allowed to be sold for daily use, provided the product sold has a low concentration of bifenthrin. The chemical was discovered and developed by FMC Corporation. A method of preserving wood includes injecting into the wood an effective amount of a aqueous wood-injectable biocidal slurry, said a wood-injectable biocidal slurry containing dispersants and sub-micron biocidal particles selected from at least one of the following classes: 1) a plurality of particles containing at least 25% by weight of a solid phase of sparingly soluble salts selected from copper salts, nickel salts, tin salts, and/or zinc salts; 2) a plurality of particles containing at least 25% by weight of a solid phase of sparingly soluble metal hydroxides selected from copper hydroxide, nickel hydroxide, tin hydroxide, and/or zinc hydroxide; 3) a plurality of particles containing at least 25% by weight of a solid phase comprising a substantially-insoluble organic biocide selected from triazoles, chlorothalonil, iodo-propynyl butyl carbamate, copper-8-quinolate, fipronil, imidacloprid, bifenthrin, carbaryl, strobulurins, and indoxacarb; 4) a plurality of particles containing on the outer surface thereof a substantially-insoluble organic biocide; 5) a plurality of particles containing a solid phase of a biocidal, partially or fully glassified composition comprising at least one of Zn, B, Cu, and P. The particles may advantageously contain metallic copper, a leachability barrier, pigments, dyes, or other adjuvants disposed on the outer surface thereof.

The invention provides an insecticidal suspending agent containing dinotefuran. The suspending agent is characterized by being prepared from the following components in mass percentage: 1-30% of the dinotefuran, 0.1-35% of a second active component, 3-9% of a wet dispersant, 0.1-0.5% of a de-foaming agent, 1-6% of an anti-freezing agent, 0.1-4% of a thickening agent, 0.1-0.5% of a preservative, 0-2% of a pH (Potential of Hydrogen) adjusting agent, 0-2% of an antioxidant, 0.5-5% of a functional auxiliary agent and the balancing being water, wherein the second active component is one of bifenthrin, imidacloprid, methylamino abamectin benzoate, cyhalothrin, thiamethoxam, indoxacarb, chlorfenapyr, acetamiprid and ethiprole. According to the insecticidal suspending agent, special components are selected and the content of each component is strictly limited; and the prepared insecticidal suspending agent has the very good fast-acting property and lasting period and has the very good prevention effect on tea lesser leafhopper, aleyrodid, thrips, aphids and the like. After the functional auxiliary agent is added, the insecticidal efficacy is improved by 10-12% when being compared with a medicament which is not added with the functional auxiliary agent.

The method comprises the following steps: preparing ferroferric oxide nano-particles by using a co-precipitation method, and performing hydrophobic modification on the surfaces of the ferroferric oxide nano-particles; extracting nano cellulose from medical degreasing cotton by using an acid hydrolysis method; by using a NCCs water solution as an external water phase, using template molecules, namely bifenthrin, a functional monomer, namely methacrylic acid, a cross-linking agent, namely ethylene glycol dimethacrylate, a solvent, namely methylbenzene, an initiator, namely azodiisobutyronitrile, and hydrophobic Fe3O4 as an oil phase, and using deionized water as an internal water phase to prepare an oil-wrapped and water-wrapped Pickering dual-emulsion, and performing thermal initiation polymerization to prepare the cellulose hollow magnetic imprinted composite microsphere adsorbent for selectively identifying and adsorbing BF in a solution. An adsorption test result shows that the prepared imprinted adsorbent has good adsorption capacity, good dynamic performance and selective BF identification performance.

Method for preparing bifenthrin

The invention discloses a method for preparing bifenthrin, which comprises the following steps: adding lambda cyhalthrin acid, inert organic solvents and catalysts into a reaction kettle, dripping thionyl chloride under the condition between -5 DEG C and 30 DEG C, carrying out reaction for 0 to 72h at the temperature between -5 DEG C and 30 DEG C, and then, recovering the inert organic solvents through vacuum distillation to prepare and obtain lambda cyhalthrin acyl chloride; adding 2-methyl-3-biphenylmethanol and the inert organic solvents into the other one reaction kettle, controlling the pH value between 7 and 12 at the -5 DEG C to 30 DEG C, dripping the lambda cyhalthrin acyl chloride and acid-binding agent water solution at the same time, carrying out reaction for 0 to 24h at 0 DEG C to 5 DEG C, recovering the inert organic solvents through phase separation and pressure reduction to prepare crude products, adding recrystallization agents, recrystallizing the crude products, and preparing and obtaining the required bifenthrin. The method disclosed by the invention has the advantages of simple production process, low cost, milder operation condition and little three wastes, the reaction rate is higher than 97 percent, the product purity is higher than 98 percent, and the method is applicable to industrialized production.

The invention relates to an efficient cyhalothrin and a manufacturing technology thereof, the manufacturing technology is as follows: (1) layer addition-reaction materials are 3, 3-dimethyl-4-pentenoic acid methyl ester and trichlorotrifluoroethane; (2) cyclization- reaction materials are tertiary butyl alcohol, Bifenthrin and sodium tert-butoxide; (3) elimination of hydrolysis-reaction materials are potassium hydroxide and cyclic Bifenthrin, and by exsolution, hydrolysis, separation and filtration 2-cis-3-(2-chloro-3, 3, 3-trifluro-1-propenyl)-2, 2-dimethyl cyclopropane carboxylic acid can be prepared; (4) chloroformylation-reaction materials are thionyl chloride, methylbenzene and 2-cis-3-(2-chloro-3, 3, 3-trifluro-1-propenyl)-2, 2-dimethyl cyclopropane carboxylic acid, and by exsolution and distillation, 3-(2-chloro-3, 3, 3-trifluoro-1-propenyl)-2, 2-dimethylcyclopropane carbonyl chloride is obtained; (5) esterification- reaction materials are phenylate aldehyde, sodium cyanide, PTC and 3-(2-chloro-3, 3, 3-trifluoro-1-propenyl)-2, 2-dimethylcyclopropane carbonyl chloride, by water rinse, exsolution and distillation, the cyhalothrin is prepared; and (7) epimerization-inoculating crystal is added for carrying out an epimerization reaction, and after the reaction, an end product-the efficient cyhalothrin is obtained by filtration and drying. As the invention adopts the technical proposal, the efficient cyhalothrin prepared by the invention greatly shortens the technological route and obviously improves the reaction efficiency through the improvement of technical skills, thereby reducing the cost of industrialization.
