A method of transmitting a control signal in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes acquiring a resource index, the number of cyclic shifts (CSs) and a CS interval, wherein the number of CSs is an integer multiple of the CS interval, determining a CS index based on the number of CSs and the CS interval, generating a cyclically shifted sequence by cyclically shifting a base sequence by a CS amount obtained from the CS index, generating a modulated sequence based on the cyclically shifted sequence and a symbol for a control signal and transmitting the modulated sequence after mapping the modulated sequence to a resource block obtained from the resource index.

A family of new bicycle shifting systems incorporate improved derailleur designs that are controlled by sealed hydraulic actuators. The shifting systems (i) a hydraulically-actuated, manually-powered front and rear derailleur shifting system, (ii) a hydraulically-actuated, power-assisted front and rear derailleur shifting system with manual control, and (iii) a hydraulically-actuated, power-assisted front and rear derailleur shifting system in which the shifting sequence for the rear derailleur is controlled automatically by pedal speed. Each of these shifting systems utilize a totally sealed, inclined linear shifting path. Environmental contaminants are prevented from entering any of the critical derailleur or control elements. The linear, inclined shifting path provides precise chain shifting, more uniform chain wrap on the rear bicycle drive sprockets, and lower chain and sprocket wear. A method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving control information in an SC-FDMA system are provided, in which different cyclic shift values are generated for different SC-FDMA symbols in one of a slot and a subframe, a sequence allocated for CDM of control information is cyclically shifted by the cyclic shift values, and a control channel signal including the control information is combined with the cyclically shifted sequences on an SC-FDMA symbol basis and transmitted in the SC-FDMA symbols.

A second generator generates a sequence in which samples of the ZAC sequence alternate with samples of the circular-shifted sequence. The present invention provides advanced hardware diagnostic detection for the clutch control components in a hydraulic control module of a multi-mode hybrid transmission. The detection scheme of the present invention utilizes pressure switch sensors to detect the position of each of the valves associated with the clutch control mechanization. The mechanization of these sensors with the valves provides the ability to clearly define the position of each of the valves, while also enabling the transmission electro-hydraulic control module (TEHCM) to diagnose the state of health of each pressure switch. This will allow the diagnostics to differentiate between a failed switch and a failed (e.g., “stuck” or “out of position”) valve. The present invention offers the ability to safely diagnose the clutch control components in a power transmission, while preventing unexpected and undesired shift sequencing within the transmission.

Complexity of OFDM symbol generation is reduced by the technical scheme, demodulation complexity is reduced and demodulation parameter performance is enhanced.

A family of new bicycle shifting systems incorporate improved derailleur designs that are controlled by sealed hydraulic actuators. The shifting systems (i) a hydraulically-actuated, manually-powered front and rear derailleur shifting system, (ii) a hydraulically-actuated, power-assisted front and rear derailleur shifting system with manual control, and (iii) a hydraulically-actuated, power-assisted front and rear derailleur shifting system in which the shifting sequence for the rear derailleur is controlled automatically by pedal speed. An experimental result shows that the watermarking proposal is strict and reversible, has good shielding performance and is a safely-encrypted and source-tracked practical algorithm for a confidential vector map.

A system and method for minimizing or preventing interference between wireless networks is disclosed. A network hub broadcasts a beacon signal within repeating beacon periods. The position of the beacon signal shifts within each beacon period based upon a predetermined pseudo-random sequence. The beacon signal includes data identifying the current beacon shift sequence and the current phase of the sequence. Neighboring hubs independently or jointly determine and broadcast their own beacon shift sequences and phases for their respective networks from a predetermined list. Nodes connected with the network hubs are assigned allocation intervals having a start time that is set relative to the beacon signal. The start time and duration of the allocation interval wraps around the beacon period if the allocation-interval would otherwise start or continue in a next beacon period.

A dual-clutch transmission (DCT) shift sequencing system includes a shift type module that determines a shift type based on a scheduled gear and a current attained gear of a DCT. A shift sequence module determines a sequence index based on the shift type. A sequencing module generates a fork command signal and a clutch command signal based on a first sequencing table corresponding to the sequence index. A shift abort module may be included to terminate an ongoing shift and to transition to an updated shift. A fork control module controls fork shifting in the DCT based on the fork command signal. A marine propulsion system that utilizes a transmission shift sequence to control shifting of the propulsion system transmission between forward and reverse gears. The marine propulsion system includes a controller that executes the transmission shift sequence using engine speed and transmission fluid pressure signals to determine the timing of various steps in the shift sequence. A shift control method of a range group transmission with a multi-speed main transmission, which connects with a drive motor, via a clutch (K) and an input shaft. A transmission brake optionally engages the input shaft. At least a two range group is located downstream of the main transmission. A range change shift is accomplished by changing a gear of the main transmission and the range group. The shifting sequence is accelerated by: reducing motor torque and disengaging the clutch (K); disengaging a previous range group gear; synchronizing a new range group gear; disengaging a previous main transmission gear; engaging the new range group gear; synchronizing a new main transmission gear; engaging the new main transmission gear; and engaging the clutch (K) and increasing the motor torque, such that synchronization of the new gear occurs by influencing the input shaft of the main transmission.
