Employee scheduling method and related equipment based on shift system

This disclosure proposes a shift-based employee scheduling method and related apparatus. The shift-based employee scheduling method includes: acquiring task information and inter-task conflict information; acquiring employee information; acquiring shift information; constructing an integer programming model by setting constraints and an objective function, the constraints including a first constraint requiring that conflicting tasks assigned to each shift can be executed, the objective function being based on multiple objectives; solving the integer programming model using the acquired information to determine the correspondence between employees and shifts and between tasks and shifts, and decoding the correspondence between employees and tasks from the employee-shift and task-shift correspondence information, thereby scheduling employees.

Ball-type shift control device for electronic shift system

The present disclosure provides a ball-type shift control device for an electronic shift system, the ball-type shift control device including a shift operation unit provided on a first hemisphere of a spherical mechanism and operated by a driver of a vehicle to shift, and a design unit provided on a second hemisphere of the spherical mechanism and used for indirect illumination and image transmission. By rotating the spherical mechanism, only the shift operation unit is exposed to the interior of the vehicle through an opening of a housing when a shift operation is required, and only the design unit is exposed to the interior of the vehicle through the opening of the housing when a shift operation is not required.

Method for controlling a shift system of a bicycle

A method for controlling a shift system of a bicycle includes, in particular during pedaling, (i) acquiring sensor data representing a posture of a rider of the bicycle relative to the bicycle, (ii) recognizing a transition of the rider from a seated position to a standing position based on the sensor data acquired, and (iii) decreasing a gear ratio of the shift system in a controlled manner in response to recognizing the transition of the rider from the seated position to the standing position.

Adjusting Signals to Shift System Resource Utilization

Example aspects of the present disclosure relate to demand shaping by adjusting signals to shift system resource utilization. An example method includes accessing data associated with batched service instances for a batch delivery window. The method includes determining a probability that a user initiates a service instance outside of the batch delivery window is greater than a probability for initiating the service instance within the window. Responsive to determining the first probability is greater than the second probability, determining an incentive predicted to increase the probability of the service instance within the batch delivery window. The method includes generating a selectable user interface element including an indication of the incentive associated with the batch delivery window. The method includes automatically updating the user interface responsive to selection of the user interface to provide the incentive for display alongside a number of available items associated with the batch delivery window.

Intra prediction with linear shift

Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed herein for intra predictions with linear shifts. In examples, a video decoder may determine an intra prediction mode for a video block. The video decoder may determine whether to use an offset parameter associated with the intra prediction mode to predict the video block. The offset parameter associated with the intra prediction mode may be obtained based on a determination to use the offset parameter to predict the video block. A set of prediction samples for the video block may be determined based on the offset parameter and the intra prediction mode for the video block. The video block may be decoded using the set of prediction samples.
