A method of crediting an online publisher when a user uses the online publisher to access an online advertiser using a web browser is disclosed. The online publisher displays a tracked advertisement on the user's browser, the tracked advertisement being identifiable by a publisher tracked advertisement identifier, with the online advertiser being associated with an advertising network that is hosted on an advertising network server. The online advertiser is identifiable by an advertising network identifier and an associated advertising network tracking integration code. The method comprises receiving a request from the user to access the advertising network server, directing the user to the advertising network server, setting a tracking cookie on the visitor's web browser, the tracking cookie including the publisher tracked advertisement identifier and a timestamp, redirecting the visitor's browser to a controlling server, setting a master cookie on the visitor's browser, the master cookie including the advertising network identifier and a timestamp on the user's browser, redirecting the visitor's browser to the online advertiser, allowing the user to conclude a transaction with the online advertiser, launching a confirmation page comprising a master pixel tracking integration code comprising at least one variable for the concluded transaction, sending the master pixel tracking integration code to the controlling server, checking the user's web browser for a previously set master cookie and, if the cookie is found, writing the transaction into the controlling server, crediting the advertising network specified in the cookie, and triggering the display of the advertising network tracking integration code.

Apparatus And Method For Tracking The Position Of A Person/Object Using A Mobile Communication Network

The present invention relates to an apparatus for tracking a position using a mobile communication network comprising terminals, a base station transmission system (BTS), a base station controller (BSC), a mobile switching center (MSC), a Home Location Register (HLR), a Short Message Service (SMS) and a position information management server. More particularly, the position tracking apparatus comprises: a CDMA wireless transmission and reception element for performing basic CDMA wireless transmissions and receptions; a position information extracting element for receiving position information from a GPS satellite; an emergency call button for performing PUSH actions when a user lies in the emergency; a memory for storing emergency messages and external notification voice data; a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) processing element for providing personal information of the user; a controller for performing current position notifications or output of the external notification voice data upon receiving instructions from the position information management server, and performing low-power position registrations in the HLR by determining low-power position registrations based on the distance/time using a distance/time based timer; and a speaker for outputting the external notification voice data. Hence, the present invention allows the user to manage the emergency more simply and rapidly when the user is in an emergency, and allows the production of scale-down and low-power terminals to be realized.

System and method for tracking lost articles by means of a global computer network, providing a theft deterrent and advertising

Downloadable identification labels which are downloaded from a world wide computer network to a remote computer and printed on paper using a printer. Each label is printed with the contact information of a central lost and found registry and attached to one or more personal possessions. The labels can also be printed with an identification code, notification that a reward will be paid for a possession which is returned to the owner, sponsor advertising and a warning that the possession has been indelibly marked with identification indicia such as the internet address of the lost and found registry. The central lost and found registry stores, on a database, information about lost possessions and owner contact information as well as information about found possessions and finder's contact information. If a match is found between a lost possession and found possession the registry communicates the contact information of the finder to the owner so that the possession may be recovered by the owner. Owners do not preregister their belongings, codes, or contact information with the central registry. They only register with the registry if a possession should be lost or missing and the owner desires assistance in their recovery.

The invention provides a real-time video target tracking algorithm based on a multilayer attention mechanism. The real-time video target tracking algorithm comprises the following steps of inputting aseries of template images and search images; constructing a multilayer attention convolutional neural network as a matching function; calculating the similarity between the template image and the search image by utilizing related operations; using a logic loss function as an optimized objective function; optimizing the network parameters by adopting momentum random gradient descent; fixing the model parameters during the online tracking of the convolutional network, taking a first frame of target as a template to be inputted into the network, inputting the subsequent frames sequentially intothe network to carry out the correlation calculation with the output obtained by the first frame, and obtaining a response score graph; and finding the position with the highest score in the responsegraph as the position of the target, and amplifying the target to the size the same as that of the original graph to obtain the tracking target. According to the multilayer attention twinning networktracking algorithm provided by the invention, an attention mechanism can be effectively utilized to separate a target from a background, and the accuracy and the generalization of the tracker are remarkably improved under the conditions of target rotation, deformation and partial shielding.

A system and method for using targeted network traffic as payment-in-kind in exchange for rights to anything that may be connected to a network, such as network-connected computer hardware and copyrighted software or content on such hardware, is disclosed. The method may be adapted for use with almost any product or service which may be tracked over a network. The system and method are for use with transactions between a user of a subject product or service and a provider of the subject product or service desiring to receive traffic to a target in exchange for it. The user, called a “traffic generator” is capable of generating network traffic to the target. The subject product or service is connected to a network. A target traffic destination is designated by the provider or sponsor of the subject, such as a web page or web site. An traffic manager application for performing steps of the method, is connected to the network. The traffic manager may be incorporated into the subject (for example, if the subject comprises a web site), or may reside in a separate device. The traffic manager is configured to receive state information from the subject, and particularly, information about the state of use of the subject, such as the extent and manner to which the subject has been used or consumed, and to correspondingly debit a traffic generator account an amount depending on its state of use. The traffic generator is provided with a unique redirection code, and causes requests containing the redirection code to be directed to the traffic manager. The traffic manager is further configured to generally receive requests over the network. When the traffic manager receives a request containing a redirection code, the traffic manager redirects the request to the target, and credits a traffic generator account an amount depending on how the traffic to the target is measured. The traffic manager retains the traffic generator account information for use by the sponsor.
