The amino acid cleansing cream is characterized by comprising a surfactant compound with a specific self-thickening effect, wherein the surfactant compound is composed of an amino acid surfactant and an anionic surfactant. The cleansing cream is prepared from the components of, by mass, 5 to 20% of glycerin, 15 to 35% of amino acid surfactant, 20 to 40% of anionic surfactant, 0 to 4% of thickening stabilizer, 0.2 to 4% of plant extract, 1 to 10% of ceramide 3, 0.05% of tea tree oil, 0.6% of hexanediol and the balance of common matrix and/or water in cosmetics. The amino acid surfactant is prepared from sodium cocoyl glutamate, sodium lauroyl sarcosine and potassium cocoyl glycinate. The anionic surfactant is disodium lauryl sulfosuccinate. The cleansing cream provided by the invention is mild, non-irritant, sufficient in cleansing power, capable of effectively strengthening the skin barrier, suitable for long-term use and good in product stability, and the skin is moistened and not tight.
