37 results about "Routing indicator" patented technology

In telecommunication, the term routing indicator has the following meanings: In a message header, an address, i.e., group of characters, that specifies routing instructions for the transmission of the message to its final destination. A Routing Indicator is a group of letters assigned to identify a station within a tape relay network to facilitate routing of traffic. It indicates the status of the station and may indicate its geographical area. The following factors are reflected in routing indicator assignment: National or international affiliation and service of the station. The geographical area in which the station is located or area from which it is served. Network status of the station, i.e., major or minor relay, or tributary stations. Routing indicators consist of not less than four, and not more than seven letters, including suffixes. The intent of allocated letters and of letter position is as follows: First Letter - The letter R or the letter “Q” appears as the first letter and distinguishes strategic/world-wide routing indicators from call signs, address groups and theater routing indicators.

Approach for routing an integrated circuit

A computer-implemented approach for routing an integrated circuit using non-orthogonal routing is accomplished during two phases: a global routing phase and a detailed routing phase. During global routing, routing indicators, in the form of hint polygons, are added to the integrated circuit layout and strategy lists, that include bias directions and straying limits, are generated for the new wires to be added. The hint polygons and strategy lists are used during detailed routing to aid in placing the new wires. If obstacle conflicts or insufficient space problems prevent the detailed routing of a new wire, then an obstacle resolution portion of global routing is used to resolve the obstacle conflict and/or provide additional space in the integrated circuit layout to route the new wires. Obstacle resolution includes, without limitation, moving or changing layout geometry, changing or add hint polygons, changing the routing strategy by changing the bias direction and/or adjusting straying limits, inserting one or more layer changes, instructing the detailed router to backup and insert a bend, ripping-up and rerouting one or more wires, or routing the wire from the destination connection point. Also, a tight routing approach may be employed to accommodate constructing routing paths in tight layout areas. Object specific design rule checks are employed to increase routing flexibility optimize routing performance. “On-the-fly” design rule checks are performed on portions of routing paths as the routing paths are being constructed.

Massage routing in case of multiple network subscription

The present invention proposes method for routing a message from an origin (1,1A,1B) to a destination, said destination being adapted to have a subscription to plural networks (GPRS-NW, GSM-NW) adapted to transmit messages, said method comprising the steps of: determining (S21), whether said destination has a multiple network subscription; selecting (S24) a route for said message through said multiple network (GSM-NW, GPRS-NW), if said destination has a multiple network subscription; and transferring (S25) said message from said origin to said destination via said selected route, wherein said selected route is selected dependent on a value of a route indicator (ROUT_IND). Also, the present invention indicates a corresponding message routing device. Consequently, according to the present invention, a more efficient delivery of messages is achieved, since unsuccessful attempts for message delivery can be significantly reduced. Also, the resources of the network can be saved with the present invention being implented, since the best route for a message can be chosen and selected according to the prevailing situation at the destination, i.e. the subscriber terminal. Thus, the route indicator parameter (on the SMSC-SMS-GMSC interface) can optimize the routing of messages such as SMS messages, can cause an increased success rate for message delivery using the first route as a first attempt, and in consequence, reduces the load in network control devices such as MSC's and on corresponding interfaces.

Alternate structure with improved technologies for computer communication and data transfers

The computer communications and data transfers in the prior art depend on costly networks and internetworks, also on the problematic and defective addressing systems and further on the time consuming elaborate intelligent routing table look-up-mapping procedure and still further on the advantageous method for source or explicit routing getting sadly confined to communications within specialized single costly network like ATM, MPLS, etc., and not being extended for end user-to-end user communications. These problems are solved by evolving an alternate structure for communications without the use of any network and based on an inexhaustible device-attached permanent addressing system, and more importantly, this system exhibiting totally blemish-less or accusation free delivery to the addressee proper. The alternate structure takes into cognizance the geographical locations of computer devices which form the basis for end user-to-end user recorded dedicated circuit connected paths and the associated improved technologies emerging there-from such as Global Communication topology (GCT), Access Provider Exchanges (APEs), Strict Prescribed Path (SPPs), Global Strict Prescribed Path Address Directory (GSPPAD), and Route Indicators (RINDs). The resulting routing/switching method and header/frame devices Data Route Compact (DRC) are getting suitably improved to achieve high speed worriless communication.

ActiveCN105346568AFast, accurate and effective positioningTimely and accurate navigation tipsRailway signalling and safetyHigh densityShortest distance
The invention discloses a method for positioning train lines. The method comprises the following steps of firstly organizing a railway network of the whole country according to public-work lines, and dividing main lines and branch lines according to the lines of operation sections so as to obtain a high-density correspondence lattice between kilometer posts and GPS points of the lines; using a route indicator as a trigger point, beginning to select all possible routes (branch lines) passing the points from the points passing the route indicator, matching all the selected possible routes (branch lines) with current GPS longitude and latitude, and obtaining the lines with the shortest distances so as to position practical lines through an error shielding mechanism; and besides, once the branch lines or the main lines are positioned, no longer matching the branch lines and the main lines, and only dynamically matching 100-150 points before and after current GPS points on a mobile terminal. According to the method for positioning the train lines disclosed by the invention, the main lines and the branch lines in the complex railway network can be positioned quickly, accurately and effectively, navigation prompt can be performed timely and accurately to trainmen, and the method has broad application prospects.
