Method for automatically adjusting length of screw of low-voltage circuit breaker bimetallic strip

The invention discloses a method for automatically adjusting the length of a screw of a low-voltage circuit breaker bimetallic strip. The method comprises the steps of capturing the image information of a screw and a nut of the low-voltage circuit breaker bimetallic strip by use of a CCD (Charge Coupled Device) camera in real time, and then inputting the image information which is subjected to A/D conversion by using an image acquisition card previously to a computer system, processing the image information by the computer system to obtain the central coordinate information of the screw and the nut and sending the central coordinate information to a PLC (Programmable Logic Control) unit in the form of pulses, and then driving an axial moving platform and a motor to displace so as to adjust the length of the screw. The method is capable of realizing automatic adjustment of the length of the screw by automatically detecting the moving state of the screw by use of the visual positioning technology and calculating the central coordinates of the screw according to the Hough algorithm, and therefore, the traditional manual positioning adjustment manner is changed, the detection efficiency and the accuracy and stability of the system are improved, and the reliability of overload protection of the low-voltage circuit breaker is improved; the method has practical value.
