Composition for inhibiting adhesion

There is provided in the present invention a composition for inhibiting adhesion comprising polymers that are dissolved in an aqueous solution and have temperature sensitivity showing a sol-gel phase transition dependant upon temperature, wherein the polymer solution in a sol state becomes a gel state by body temperature and is thus stably coated within tissues whereby it functions as a membrane inhibiting adhesion and as time lapses, it is degraded into low molecular weight surfactants and bio-degradable single molecular substances whereby they can be absorbed into body and the degraded products can bring about secondary adhesion inhibiting effects.

SMD chip handling apparatus

The apparatus is for securely fetching and positioning an SMD chip on a printed circuit board and soldering the same to the board. Two spring plates form the clasping fingers which are wedged apart to a width larger than the width of the SMD chip by an expander formed on an elongated rod slidably mounted within a vertical tubular housing. An SMD chip may be safely fetched by pressing the rod on the top of the SMD with a continuous depressing motion until the fingers clasp the SMD chip safely therebetween. A soldering unit with a bifurcate soldering head located juxtaposed to the fingers is operative to solder the SMD chip to the printed circuit board while the SMD chip is safely held in place.

Information processing apparatus and semiconductor memory

An information processing apparatus or a semiconductor memory according to the present invention periodically refreshes a high-speed nonvolatile memory cell having spontaneous data storing capability at the time of nonuse of the apparatus (or at the time of standby of the memory) by refresh control element. Thus, a combination of the spontaneous data retaining capability of the nonvolatile memory cell, the periodic refresh at the time of nonuse, and intermittent power supply by turning on / off a switch circuit makes it possible to retain data reliably while minimizing power consumption at the time of standby. Thereby a memory system that can retain data reliably with minimum power consumption and enable high-speed access can be realized.

Apparatus and method of controlling information process system of mobile terminal apparatus using flash memory

An apparatus and a method of controlling an information process system of a mobile apparatus using a flash memory. The information process system controlling the mobile apparatus has a main memory storing a user-set data and a flash memory storing a backup data of the user-set data stored in the main memory when a main power is turned off and / or when a backup command is input by a user. A programmed CPU controls the information process system by determining whether the main power is turned off and / or whether the backup command is input by the user, and backs up the main-memory user-set data to the flash memory. Accordingly, since the user-set data is backed-up to the flash memory when the main power is turned off, an initialization image and an initialization menu can be executed according to the user-set data when the mobile apparatus is re-operated.

Container assembly

A container assembly which is specifically, but not exclusively, adapted for the storage, shipping and display of relatively fragile products, such as produce, flowers, or the like, wherein the nature of the products renders them particularly vulnerable to damage during the placement within and removal from the interior of the container assembly. Accordingly, the body of the container assembly includes a movably mounted access segment selectively disposable between opened and closed positions, wherein an access opening in the body is established when the access segment is disposed in the opened position. The access opening, when exposed is disposed, dimensioned and configured to facilitate both visual and physical access to the interior of the body as well as a laterally directed positioning of the products as they are placed within and removed from the interior, thereby reducing the possibility of physical damage being done as with vertically directed placement and removal of the products through an open top of a conventional container.

Method for controlling the normal force of a transport unit of a long stator linear motor

To reduce mechanical loading due to guidance of the transport unit of a conveyor installation in the form of a long stator linear motor and nevertheless ensure safe retention of the transport unit on the conveyor track of the conveyor installation in all operating conditions, the normal force (FNn) is controlled with a controller (Rk) for controlling the normal force (FNn). The controller (Rk) determines a normal-force-forming current component (iAnd) of the drive current (iAn) of the drive coils interacting with the transport unit (Tn) so that a resulting normal force (FΣNn) acting on the transport unit (Tn) as the sum of the normal force (FNn), a magnetic force (FMn) in the normal direction (N) caused by the drive magnets, and an external force (FEn) in the normal direction (N) acting on the transport unit (Tn) corresponds at least to a specified retaining force (FNnmin) in the normal direction (N).
