The present invention discloses a method for simulating a real battery charging process and a device thereof. The method comprises a step of presetting the capacity of a
simulation battery, and calling the corresponding relation table of a known
power capacity and output
voltage, a step of obtaining charging current and charging time in the charging process, a step of periodically calculating the product of the charging current and the charging time to obtain an input capacity, a step of searching the corresponding relation table of the
power capacity and the output
voltage according to the input capacity to obtain output
voltage, and a step of adjusting the output voltage of the
simulation battery as the output voltage obtained by calculation. The device comprises a battery connector and a
simulation power supply. The battery connector is connected to the charging
chip of a rechargeable battery. The analog power supply comprises a
data storage retrieval module, a current detection module, a
clock module, a calculation module, and a
voltage regulation module. According to the method and the device, the output voltage can be dynamically adjusted according to the magnitude of the charging current, the process of supplying power to the
system by the rechargeable battery is simulated, and convenience is brought to a user to grasp the whole charging process.
