The invention discloses an automatic identification method for resolution and
frame rate of a coaxial video
signal, which belongs to the technical field of
signal processing, and comprises the following steps: filtering the coaxial video
signal to obtain a filtered signal; generating a line synchronization pulse and a width thereof based on a zero-crossing judgment level value and the filtering signal, the zero-crossing judgment level value being configured to be adaptively adjustable; generating a
point counting reset signal according to the line synchronization pulse, and obtaining the total sample point number of each line; carrying out stability
verification on the total sample point number of multiple continuous rows; identifying a
frame synchronization identifier, and obtaining the total line number of each frame; performing stability
verification on the total line number of the continuous multiple frames; and matching the total line number which tends to be stable and the verified total sample point number with a preset video
system parameter, and determining the resolution and the
frame rate of the coaxial video signal. According to the method and the device, the resolution and the
frame rate of the input coaxial video signal can be accurately and quickly identified, so that a decoder can conveniently configure correct decoding parameters, and normal picture output of decoding is ensured.
