The application relates to the technical field of medical devices, in particular to a novel
metal ceramic reverse type
shoulder joint prosthesis system and a preparation method thereof. The
system comprises a humeral stem, a humeral holder, a humeral pad, a reverse type glenoid head, a taper adapter and a glenoid holder which are sequentially assembled together. The humeral holder, the humeral pad, the reverse type glenoid head and the taper adapter are all formed by 3D
zirconium niobium metal printing or
forging; the humeral stem and the glenoid holder are integrally formed by 3D printing
zirconium niobium alloy, and the bone combining surface is a trabecular structure; an active
contact friction interface is formed between the humeral pad and the reverse type glenoid head, and the interface is a
zirconium niobium surface oxidized
metal ceramic interface. It can be seen that, by replacing the
high polymer material component with the zirconium niobium metal
ceramic component, the
prosthesis system can reduce the
bone cutting amount of the
proximal humerus, increase the
wear resistance of the friction interface, and manufacture a micro-texture structure on the friction interface to realize the super strong
wear resistance and low wear of the friction interface, which is beneficial to the long-term stability after the
prosthesis is implanted.
