The invention discloses a novel midwifery stool. The stool includes a stool surface, a base and a supporting rod. The middle of the stool surface is provided with a hollow port for midwifery, and the hollow part, the supporting rod and the base form a midwifery area; the stool surface is further provided with a lateral part for stretching the legs of a puerpera outwards and a
load bearing part for bearing both sides of the buttock of the puerpera. An opening is formed in the middle of the
load bearing part and is used for making the
sacrum of the puerpera suspended without being in contact with the stool surface, and a
cushion is arranged in front of the aperture between the legs of the puerpera and on the stool surface, and arranged oppositely to the
load bearing part. By using the novel midwifery stool, the front chest and arms of the puerpera can lean on the
cushion, and the buttock of the puerpera can be lifted naturally above the rear to make the puerpera stay in an anteverted posture, and therefore it is ensured that the puerpera can have a better rest during the birth process and the
sacrum of the puerpera can be more widely opened rearwards; the activity range of the puerpera's pubis and sacral can be increased, the aperture path lines and capacity of the puerpera's
pelvis can be expanded, more space can be provided for delivery of a baby, and the descending and delivery of the baby can be accelerated, so that the birth process can be accelerated.
