The method includes the steps of firstly obtaining the lightning damage statusand line and tower parameters of a region where an important transmission channel is located, and determining electrical geometric parameters and lightning related parameters for the use in simulation calculation; then on the basis of an improved EGM model, establishing a simulation model for two or more, extra-high voltage or ultra-high voltage, AC or DC, and single-circuit or multi-circuit lines set up in parallel in the important transmission channel, determining a mutual positional relationship of phase conductor arcs of the lines, calculating projection widths of the arcs at different lightning current amplitudes and different lightning incident angles, determining the projection priority of each arc at the same time, then calculating the lightning bypassing rate of each phase conductor of each line considering a shielding effect, and introducing a lightning shielding factor to quantitatively evaluate the lightning strike shielding relationship between the different lines. The method in the invention is applicable to the calculation of the lightning strike shielding effect between the adjacent lines in the important transmission channel, and provides a basis for the evaluation of the lightning damage to the lines and the line reconstruction in the important transmission channel.
