The control device comprises a magnetic element, a magnetic induction element, a signal collecting circuit, a central processing unit, an infrared transmitter, an infrared receiver, a comparator and a controller. The magnetic induction element is stimulated by the magnetic element to generate electric signals; the magnetic induction element induces a magnetic field and generates the electric signals; the signal collecting circuit collects the electric signals; the central processing unit receives the electric signals and recognizes the position of a car model robot; the infrared transmitter transmits infrared light to the car model robot to provide a travelling route; the infrared receiver receives infrared light signals; the comparator receives and compares the infrared light signals and outputs corresponding level signals; the controller is used for receiving the level signals and controlling the car model robot to travel. The magnetic induction element is used for generating current signals under the magnetic field of the magnetic element to recognize the position of the car model robot, and the magnetic induction element is compact in structure, so that high-accuracy positioning is achieved, and the requirement for the position of a sand table is met; on the other hand, the car model robot is controlled to travel through the infrared transmitter and the infrared receiver and used for demonstration of the sand table, interaction between people and the sand table is achieved, and the sand table car model is more interesting.
