The present disclosure provides a guardrail assembly, a construction platform, a construction method of a tower drum, a tower drum and a wind turbine generator set. The guardrail assembly is arranged on a support platform. The guardrail assembly comprises a plurality of first support members and a plurality of second support members. The plurality of first support members extend in a vertical direction and are arranged at intervals around the support platform. Two ends of each second support member are connected between two adjacent first support members. At least one of the plurality of second support members is arranged to be adjustable along the circumferential length of the support platform. The length of the guardrail assembly along the circumference of the support platform can be adjusted, so that the same guardrail assembly can be adapted to support platforms of different sizes. In the case that the same guardrail assembly is applied to support platforms of different sizes, the assembly cost of the wind turbine generator set is reduced.
