The sounding balloon comprises balloon skin, a balloon handle, a connecting cylinder, a connecting pipe, an exhaust control device and an exhaust pipe, wherein the balloon skin is made of latex, and the balloon handle is connected with the balloon handle; the balloon handle is internally provided with the connecting cylinder, the connecting cylinder is connected with the connecting pipe, the exhaust control device is arranged at the lower end of the connecting pipe, and the exhaust control device is connected withthe exhaust pipe; the exhaust control device can control a ball valve, so that gas in the balloon is discharged, the rising speed of the balloon is controllable, the working time of the balloon is effectively prolonged, and the accuracy of data measured by a sounding instrument is improved. Through the control of the exhaust control device, the horizontal movement of the sounding balloon is finally achieved, the balloon can carry the instrument to work at a fixed height for a long time, and a carrier is directly provided for the application fields such as high-altitude meteorological detection, high-altitude reconnaissance and communication coverage.

A play apparatus has a gas filled balloon and an opening through which fluid is squirted or otherwise released. Fluid is delivered to the opening from an adjacent or nearby reservoir which is connected to at least one hollow tube whereby liquid is transferred from the reservoir to the release point on or adjacent to the balloon, such that the buoyancy of the balloon is unimpeded, for the purposes of play and amusement.
