Grabbing manipulator capable of turning over box body

The invention provides a grabbing manipulator capable of turning over a box body. The grabbing manipulator is connected with the tail end of a rotating mechanical arm of a right-angle coordinate robot and comprises a supporting mechanism, a displacement adjusting mechanism, a clamping mechanism and a pneumatic control loop. The supporting mechanism is composed of a connecting arm, a fixed clamping plate and a fixing plate. The displacement adjusting mechanism is composed of a movable clamping plate, guide rods, guide sleeves, a pneumatic rod and a pneumatic cylinder. The clamping mechanism is composed of clamping round plates, a servo motor, a synchronous belt and a synchronous wheel. The pneumatic control loop is composed of a pneumatic hose, a direct acting pressure reducing valve and an electromagnetic control reversing valve. According to the grabbing manipulator capable of turning over the box body, the clamping force can be clamped in a whole joint mode through the pneumatic control loop so that grabbing of the heavy box body can be adapted; and the servo motor drives the synchronous wheel to rotate through the synchronous belt, the driving clamping plate can be controlled to forwards and reversely rotate by any angles, the driven clamping plate and the box body rotate along with the driving clamping plate, and hence the posture of the box body can be adjusted after the box body is grabbed by the clamping mechanism.

The moving device for vacuum absorption of the present invention comprises: a lifting unit (200) which performs an air balancing function; a vacuum absorption unit (220) which is configured to vacuously absorb a transferred object; and a tilting unit (260) which is configured to slopingly drive said vacuum absorption unit (220), wherein: said lifting unit (200) includes a lift cylinder (30); said lift cylinder (30) includes a lifting shaft (20), a lifting piston (22), and an embedded pneumatic hose (10); said embedded pneumatic hose (10) has, in an integrated shape, a straight pipe unit (12) positioned on a straight line and a coil-shaped coil unit (11) which is increased or compressed by being succeeded with said straight pipe unit (12); a lower end of the coil unit (11) is exposed to the outside through a penetration hole (37) vertically pierced on a lower end cap (36) of the lift cylinder (30), so that the lower end is connected with a pneumatic circuit unit; and an upper end of the straight pipe unit (12) is exposed to an upper end of the lifting shaft (20) through a penetration hole of the lifting piston (22) and a shaft hollow portion (21) of the lifting shaft (20), so that the upper end is combined with a rotary joint (34) and is connected to an external vacuum motor.

Method and apparatus for uniformly adding particulates to a coating on comestibles, and products produced thereby

A process for applying particulates to a large number of comestible cores during the production of comestible cores so as to have a generally uniform application of particulates on each coated core involves the steps of placing a batch of comestible cores in a coating apparatus; applying aliquots of coating syrup while the cores are tumbled in the coating apparatus to build up a coating on the cores; dividing a predetermined total amount of the particulates to be applied to the coated cores into at least three portions of approximately equal size; and applying each of the portions of particulates to the coated cores simultaneously from multiple, spaced apart, particulate distributors in the coating apparatus while the coated cores are being tumbled. Preferably the particulate applicator comprises a number of venturi eductors equal to the number of particulate distributors; a pneumatic hose connected between each venturi eductor and each particulate distributor; and a vibratory pan for holding a quantity of particulates and causing the particulates to vibrate and flow at a uniform rate into each venturi eductor. The process is particularly were suited to uniformly apply speckle particulates to produce coated chewing gum or other confectionery cores with a uniform number of speckles on each core.
