The invention discloses a new technology of plant sculpture modeling. The new technology is characterized in that a cultivation substrate is a composite cultivation substrate and is generally composedof at least three layers, and sequentially comprises an underlying grid layer, a nutrient substrate layer and an outer layer; and the nutrient substrate layer can be composed of building rock wool, horticultural rock wool or artificial sponge alone individually, and a better mode is characterized by compounding the nutrient substrate layer with substrates of peat, turf and/ or a water-retaining agent and other substances. According to the technical scheme, the number of using varieties of the plant materials is single and the construction time is reduced in plant molding process, so that construction is simpler, environmental protection is achieved, and the technical method is more scientific; meanwhile, the production and manufacturing time of plant modeling and an environment place forshowing demands can be expanded to all-year, all-weather, indoor and outdoor places; the plant materials comprise all herbal, vine and woody plant varieties suitable for modeling which can be propagated through sexual and asexual propagation methods; and manufacturing construction not only saves labor and time, but also has higher hygiene and environmental protection and scientific level comparedwith an existing manufacturing construction method.
