Based on traditional particle shadow velocimetry, this invention utilizes a particle transport device to create identical motion conditions for both standard and test particles. A high-speed camera captures images of the moving particles against a similar background. The acquired images are then processed to obtain the measured particle size. By analyzing the mathematical relationship between the actual particle size of the standard particle and its measured value, the actual particle size of the test particle is finally derived. This invention establishes a particle image processing workflow that can rapidly process large numbers of image samples, effectively achieving high-speed and high-precision measurement of micron-sized particle size during impact with a wall compared to traditional particle shadow velocimetry.
