The method combines a battery pack, a flywheel energy storage, a supercapacitor, and a pumped storage power station into a hybrid energy storage device, which is divided into a DC part and an AC part to be applied to a wind farm, and uses an energy management system to formulate strategies to control the charging-discharging of the hybrid energy storage device and improve the utilization rate of wind power. The battery pack, the flywheel energy storage, and the supercapacitor form the DC part. The pumpedstorage power station forms the AC part. The energy-type and power-type energy storage devices are combined to further improve the overall performance of the energy storage device. Wind-driven generation power fluctuation is non-linear and is coverted according to the Hilbert frequency to calculate the low-frequency, intermediate-frequency and high-frequency fluctuations, which correspond to the power distribution among the battery pack, the flywheel energy storage, and the super capacitor of the DC part so as to stablize the real-time output fluctuation of the wind farm and improve power quality.
