The present invention provides a ginkgo biloba seed germination method, comprising the following steps of: sterilizing seeds by using a sodium hypochlorite solution; soaking the seeds by using a gibberellin solution; after using a rice bran pile to produce seven windrows and meanwhile performing fermenting for one day, burying the ginkgo biloba seeds into a first windrow and keeping the seeds therein for one day, then taking out immediately and burying the seeds into a next windrow and keeping the seeds therein for one day, until the seeds are kept in a seventh windrow for one day, and taking out the ginkgo biloba seeds; taking vermiculite, wetting the vermiculite by using a gibberellin solution, and putting the vermiculite into a plastic bag, also putting the ginkgo biloba seeds into the plastic bag, kneading the plastic bag for 5-10 minutes every 2-3 hours, and taking out the ginkgo biloba seeds after kneading is performed for 5-8 times; and putting the ginkgo biloba seeds into a pressure tank, vacuuming the pressure tank by using a suction pump, keeping the conditioin for 1-2 minutes, and then injecting air, performing vacuuming and air injecting operations once every day, and taking out the ginkgo biloba seeds after 3-5 days. The ginkgo biloba seed germination method can effectively break the dormancy of the ginkgo biloba seeds, and improve the germination rate of the ginkgo biloba seeds.
