Compact Camera and Cable System for Vehicular Applications

In one aspect, the invention is directed to a camera for mounting on a vehicle, wherein the camera housing made up of two housing members, with a conductive coating on the interior of each of the housing members. The two housing members mate together using an interference fit, to provide a greater assurance that they are electrically connected to each other. One of the housing members is connected to ground. In another aspect, the invention provides a camera module that has a housing and a wire harness or wire or lead that is electrically connected to circuitry of the camera and that extends through the camera housing for electrical connection to a vehicle wire harness or the like. The wire or lead extends through a portion of the housing with the housing disposed at the wire prior to connection of the wire to the circuitry of the camera. The electrical connection of the wire to the camera circuitry is made as the housing is assembled. The joint at where the wire extends outward from the housing portion is sealed, such as via shrink wrapping or the like.

Self-Compacting Pattern Indexer: Storing, Indexing and Accessing Information in a Graph-Like Data Structure

An indexing system uses a graph-like data structure that clusters features indexes together. The minimum atomic value in the data structure is represented as a leaf node which is either a single feature index or a sequence of two or more feature indexes when a minimum sequence length is imposed. Root nodes are formed as clustered collections of leaf nodes and / or other root nodes. Context nodes are formed from root nodes that are associated with content that is being indexed. Links between a root node and other nodes each include a sequence order value that is used to maintain the sequencing order for feature indexes relative to the root node. The collection of nodes forms a graph-like data structure, where each context node is indexed according to the sequenced pattern of feature indexes. Clusters can be split, merged, and promoted to increase the efficiency in searching the data structure.

A compact safety cone that can self-right when in use and be reduced to a compact size when not. The compact safety cone has a base, flexible means, and cover. The spring flexible means coils around the center of the base in decreasing diameters without overlapping. The compact safety cone has a substantially low center of gravity due to the weight distribution among its components. By design, the compact safety cone has a fast impulse response to direct (contact) and indirect (no-contact) perturbations and is capable of being run over or hit by a vehicle and β€œself-right” substantially immediately after the impact. When not in use, an integrated holding means conveniently and securely keeps the flexible means to the base. The holding means can be, e.g., a cover, lid, light, sign, mirror, box, case, hook, latch, strap, Velcro, pin, lock, etc. In some cases, an optional handle may be included.

The data matching system generates a regular expression pattern for input datasets and describes similarity measures between the generated patterns. The data matching system analyzes an input dataset in terms of symbol classes, generalizing input values into a general pattern to allow identification or extrapolation of overlap between input datasets, aiding in matching fields in databases that are being merged and in learning a pattern for an input dataset. For each sequence of data values, the present system computes a compact pattern describing the sequence. Embodiments of the data matching system comprise noise reduction and repetitive pattern discovery in the input dataset and calculation of recall and precision of the generated pattern.

A method and system for efficiently coding test pattern for ICs in scan design and build-in linear feedback shift register (LFSR) for pseudo-random pattern generation. In an initialization procedure, a novel LFSR logic model is generated and integrated into the system for test data generation and test vector compression. In a test data generation procedure, test vectors are specified and compressed using the LFSR logic model. Every single one of the test vectors is compressed independently from the others. The result, however, may be presented all at once and subsequently provided to the user or another system for further processing or implementing in an integrated circuit to be tested. According to the present invention a test vector containing 0 / 1-values for, e.g., up to 500.000 shift registers and having, e.g., about 50 so called care-bits can be compressed to a compact pattern code of the number of care-bits, i.e., 50 bits for the example of 50 care-bits.

Compact open baffle speaker system

A speaker system is presented. The speaker system has a front speaker driver, a shroud mounted to the front speaker driver substantially encasing a cylinder volume on a rear portion of the front speaker driver. A rear speaker driver having similar dimensions to the front speaker is axially aligned with the front speaker driver and secured at a determined distance behind the front speaker driver and the shroud providing an air gap between the shroud and the rear speaker driver.
