drill hole is directly used for testing, and when a soil layer to be tested is drilled during the exploration operation, the
cutting and dumping hollow
drill bit and the soil sample protection and consolidation cylinder are embedded and sleeved together and then are inserted into the center of the bottom of the exploration hole, and due to the fact that the annular baffle is arranged at the
tail end of the
cutting and dumping hollow
drill bit, the cutting and dumping hollow
drill bit and the soil sample protection and consolidation cylinder are inserted into the center of the bottom of the exploration hole. A hollow needle bearing on the upper surface of the soil sample protection and consolidation cylinder is synchronously downward in the drilling process; then the cutting and soil discharging hollow
drill bit is lifted out of the
drill hole, the soil sample protecting and consolidating cylinder is left in the
drill hole, and a pressing rod of the soil sample protecting and consolidating cylinder is connected with a drill rod of a reconnaissance drilling
machine through threads so as to maintain the in-situ state of the test soil body; the device has the
advantage that the mechanical parameters of the current reconnaissance soil layer can be tested in situ.
