The invention relates to an apparatus for using a hollow floater to assist in slope drainage and solves the problem that in a dry season with less rainfall, underground water level drops, a slope has no water to be discharged via siphoning, a siphoning system may stop operating, air dissolved in air may be separated out gradually in bubble form, the air accumulates constantly in a siphon, the vacuum degree of the siphon decreases, and it is hard to restart siphoning and even siphoning disappears. The apparatus comprises a hollow floater, anchor cables, an air chamber, a siphon, an exhaust pipe, an air supplement pipe, and a one-way valve; the hollow floater is arranged on the water level in the front of the slope, the bottom of the hollow floater is connected to a foundation through the anchor cables, the air chamber is formed in the hollow floater, one end of the siphon is extended below the underground water level of the slope, the other end of the siphon is passed through the air chamber below sea water level, one end of the exhaust pipe is extended below the underground water level at the rear edge of the slope, the other end of the exhaust pipe is connected to the air chamber, and the air supplement pipe is arranged at the upper end of the air chamber.
