Extraction and rendering techniques for digital charting database

Disclosed is a method for extracting and rendering data from digital charting databases. The software method integrates and combines bathymetric / topographic data from several sources into a stream of three-dimensional data points, creating a triangle surface mesh, and dividing it into pieces along arbitrary lines to create regularly sized and shaped areas for efficient storing and rendering. The method works by forming an initial triangle mesh of the area and then refining the mesh by incrementally adding each point to the mesh, until a full mesh representation is achieved. The large single file is then broken down into discrete geographic regions, and the region data is converted into a standard file format for viewing and / or processing.

Method for programming operator system interface with a simulator

A process that takes converted system software code as input to a program created with a commercial compiler to produce a simulated Operator System Interface. An Operator System Interface is produced using program data structures rather than extensive emulation or updating of program source code. These files can then be modified or updated and converted back to both drive the system software and the Software Specification. This eliminates extensive manpower intensive emulation, and significantly reduces update work on actual system source code.

Parameter setting method and circuit operation testing method and electronic processing device

The invention provides a method for testing a circuit operation (circuit simulation), which is conducted by using a model of high precision. After parameters are extracted by using a model of which physical precision is low and parameter extraction time is short from measurement data, the parameters are converted to those obtained by a model of which parameter extraction time is generally long and a circuit operation test is performed by a model of high physical precision. In other words, a parameter is extracted first by a model of low physical precision and then, the extracted parameter is converted into a parameter obtained by the model of high physical precision. Finally, a circuit operation test is performed by using the model having high physical precision.
