The invention discloses a
handover method for a mobile communication
system of a high-speed railway. The method comprises the following steps of: measuring reference
signal received power (RSRP) values and reference
signal received quality (RSRQ) values of a current service
cell and neighbor cells; calculating difference values DeltaRSRP of the RSRP values of the neighbor cells and the current service
cell, and finding a maximum value in the difference values; determining a corresponding
handover hysteresis threshold value according to the RSRQ value of the current service
cell and the
maximum difference value DeltaRSRP, performing
handover triggering judgment, and if a condition is consistent with a handover triggering condition, determining a target evolved-
NodeB for a terminal, and transmitting the context information of the terminal and a handover request to the target evolved-
NodeB for handover operation. By the method, high
quality of service can be obtained by advanced handover in a poor
wireless signal transmission environment, and unnecessary handover can be suppressed in a good
wireless signal transmission environment, so that handover times are reduced, the capability of
adaptation to channel quality is improved, and a good compromise between the handover times and the
quality of service of communication can be made.
