Method and apparatus for enforcing capacity limitations in a logically partitioned system

A method and apparatus for enforcing capacity limitations such as those imposed by software license agreements in an information handling system in which a physical machine is divided into a plurality of logical partitions, each of which is allocated a defined portion of processor resources by a logical partition manager. A software license manager specifies a maximum allowed consumption of processor resources by a program executing in one of the logical partitions. A workload manager also executing in the partition measures the actual consumption of processor resources by the logical partition over a specified averaging interval and compares it with the maximum allowed consumption. If the actual consumption exceeds the maximum allowed consumption, the workload manager calculates a capping pattern and interacts with the logical partition manager to cap the actual consumption of processor resources by the partition in accordance with the calculated capping pattern. To provide additional capping flexibility, partitions are assigned phantom weights that the logical partition manager adds to the total partition weight to determine whether the partition has exceeded its allowed share of processor resources for capping purposes. The logical partition thus becomes a “container” for the licensed program with an enforced processing capacity less than that of the entire machine.

The method comprises the following steps: designing an access strategy of a tree logic structure according to an attribute set and an access demand; associating the ciphertext with an access strategy, and encrypting the data by using the access strategy to obtain the ciphertext; associating the key with the attribute set, and obtaining the key according to the attribute set; releasing the storage address of the ciphertext to a block chain network in a transaction form; and the user who satisfies the specified attribute set in the access strategy can obtain the secret key, and decrypts the stored ciphertext through the storage address on the block chain. According to the method, the credibility of the shared data is enhanced through the characteristics of non-tampering and public transparency of the block chain, the privacy and controllability of the data are guaranteed through ciphertext policy attribute encryption, and the expandability of the device is improved through the ciphertext storage address chaining. The invention discloses a multi-parallel capacity optimal distributing method for an active harmonic suppression device. The method is characterized in that a multi-unit redundancy and main and secondary control structure is adopted, and the complete set system is switched under two running modes according to the load harmonic content. The method comprises the following steps: 1) distributing the compensating capacity according to the principle of minimizing the number of running power units when the harmonic capacity is less than the complete set compensating capacity, and coordinating the switching of each power unit to realize the fullest utilization of the complete set compensating capacity; (2) considering three capacity limiting factors, namely, the rated compensating capacity, the effective utilization range of the voltage at the DC side, and the running temperature of a main circuit device when the harmonic capacity is more than the complete set compensating capacity; outputting the capacity limiting coefficient according to the variable step size strategy; preferentially compensating the low-frequency harmonic wave with relatively high compensating content, so as to realize the maximum utilization of the complete set compensating capacity. According to the method, the upper and lower main and secondary controllers are coordinated and matched to realize the optimal utilization of the multi-parallel APF (Active Power Filter) compensating capacity; the feasibility and practical value are raised.

The invention discloses a system and a method for starting an engine of an HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle). The system comprises a high-voltage battery, the engine, an ISG (Integrated Starter and Generator), a BMS (Battery Management System), an EMS (Engine Management System), a motor controller and an HCU (Hybrid Control Unit), wherein the engine is in rigid connection with the ISG, the energy of the ISG is obtained from the high-voltage battery, the HCU is used for controlling the ISG through the motor controller, battery information is obtained through the BMS, engine information is obtained through the EMS, the HCU is used for determining the starting target rotating speed, the oil injection starting and/or ignition rotating speed and whether to request to reduce the battery discharging capacity limit in a short time by the BMS or not through the battery information and the engine information, the motor controller is instructed for dragging the engine and the ISG to the target rotating speed and maintaining the target rotating speed, and the HCU is used for determining whether the starting is finished or not through a torque which is fed back by the motor controller and an engine state which is fed back by the EMS. According to the system for starting the engine of the HEV, disclosed by the invention, the system does not comprise a traditional starting engine with 12V/24V low voltage, and the ISG is also utilized for starting the engine under a low-temperature environment.
