The present invention discloses an endoscope dedicated for substation maintenance, comprising a mainframe, a stepping motor and a control module that are fixedly installed inside the mainframe, an endoscope flexible conduit connected to an outer side of the top of the mainframe, and an acquisition probe assembly installed at an end part of the endoscope flexible conduit. The control module is connected to the acquisition probe assembly by using a data transmission wire. A power shaft of the stepping motor is connected to a steel wire flexible transmission shaft, and the steel wire flexible transmission shaft is inside the endoscope flexible conduit. According to the endoscope, an operation is simple, an observation direction is conveniently adjusted in a using process, and an observation speed is fast. The maintenance endoscope can be used to enter a transformer device from a narrow opening of the device, to observe parts that cannot be directly observed by naked eyes. The endoscope can be used to effectively improve inspection efficiency of a maintainer for defects such as corrosion, rusting, crack, and abnormality of the parts inside the device. Endoscope inspection replaces device disassembling inspection, so that interruption duration can be reduced, and an operating risk can be lowered.
