Physician documentation workflow management methods

Improved systems and methods for collecting Protected Health Information (PHI) with or without the assistance of a physician scribe are described. Documenting a patient encounter utilizing a template-based charting system (either electronic or paper-based), and the tracking of this document status and patient clinical status throughout the encounter, for purposes of managing multiple patients and multiple patients' documents, as well as improved communication between providers and assistants. The systems and methods of this invention generally comprise an electronic records system for creating and maintaining information in electronic records; patient tracking system (either computerized or not) for managing tasks specific to provider documentation of specific clinical care actions and patient clinical status; complimentary utilization of medical history questionnaires which are designed to correlate with template-based charting tools; methods of communication between provider assistants (including physician assistants, nurses, secretaries, scribes, patients, or other assistants) to convey the status of the collection and management of the PHI, including patient history, patient examination, testing results, medical decision making, patient disposition plan, follow-up information and other elements of provider charting of PHI; sequence of patient tracking indicators that represent steps in the care of the patient, status of the document, and clinical or documentation-related tasks for completion by providers or provider assistants; improvements on a real-time compliance system for identifying the specific stage or status of each electronic record, and allowing providers and assistants to track this completion status, thereby streamlining documentation and compliance workflows.

Working method of medical diagnosis auxiliary system

The invention provides a working method of a medical diagnosis auxiliary system, and the method comprises the following steps: inputting symptom information into a server, and sampling patient examination data; enabling the server to identify keywords and related sentences in the symptom information and extract the corresponding keywords; according to sample training and statistics obtained from historical medical record data, obtaining detailed features of the disease, finding out potential patients, and depicting a disease model; and matching the depicted disease model with a diagnosis modelin a database to obtain a diagnosis model result closest to the symptom information of a patient. The accuracy of data analysis is further improved through continuous data accumulation; compared withInternet inquiry in the prior art, the method improves the accuracy by 70%; the new analysis vocabularies and logic algorithms are continuously expanded according to logic operation of data, the diagnosis capacity of doctors is improved through auxiliary diagnosis, and the misdiagnosis rate and the missed diagnosis rate are reduced. Doctors apply medicine according to symptoms and actual conditions and query results of the method, and the accuracy rate can reach 100%.

Medical image storing and transmitting system

The invention relates to a medical image storing and transmitting system, which belongs to the field of a medical system, and comprises a patient examination information base, image acquisition equipment, a basic data storage module, a hot plug data storage module, an image diagnosis work station, display equipment, operation equipment and printing equipment. The image acquisition equipment is connected with the patient examination information base through a transmission cable and is provided with a camera, a scanning device and a data output interface; the data output interface is connected to a DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) interface of the basic data storage module; the basic data storage module is connected with the hot plug data storage module, passes through the hot plug data storage module and then is connected with the image diagnosis work station; the DICOM interface is used for synchronously transmitting data acquired by the camera and the scanning device and corresponding data in the patient examination information base to the basic data storage module; and a photographic film is printed by the printing equipment connected on the image diagnosis work station. Due to the adoption of the network distribution storage technology, mass storage management and access technology can be realized; and due to the adoption of a multistage storage structure, the storage space and the performance have infinite expansion capability and the system has high stability and is convenient to expand.
