The invention discloses an installation method for a
water leakage monitoring device used in a
machine room, and the method comprises the following steps: (a), installing a
water leakage controller; (b), connecting a leading-out wire at the bottom of the
water leakage controller; (c), carrying out the segmented laying of a jump wire; (d), laying an inductive cable; (e), enabling the outer end of the inductive cable to be connected to an ending terminal; (f), setting a
label at the inductive cable; (g), carrying out testing of water leakage. According to the invention, the leading-out wire, the jump wire and the inductive cable are distributed in an ordered manner according to design positions, and the jump wire and the inductive cable are fixed, thereby preventing the circuits from being twisted together, and guaranteeing the normal operation of water leakage monitoring. Moreover, the
label is pasted on the inductive cable, carries the length of the inductive cable between the
label and the jump wire on a branching device and the length of the inductive cable between the label and the ending terminal, and is used for marking the
actual length of a field cable, so as to quickly find a leaking point when leaking happens.
