There are many different types, ranging from historical handmade mechanical instruments to high-precision electronic devices. Modern electrometers based on vacuum tube or solid-state technology can be used to make voltage and charge measurements with very low leakage currents, down to 1 femtoampere. A simpler but related instrument, the electroscope, works on similar principles but only indicates the relative magnitudes of voltages or charges.

Micro-mechanical resonant electrometer with ultra-high sensitivity

The invention, which belongs to the MEMS field, discloses a micro-mechanical resonant electrometer with ultra-high sensitivity. The method comprises a mechanical structure design method of an electrometer header and a testing circuit design method. Compared with the prior art using a movable resonator charge input polar plate, the mechanical structure design enables the conversion efficiency between the electrostatic force and the axial stress to be improved; and with a micro-mechanical lever, the electrostatic force increases to improve mechanical sensitivity. When an external charge is inputted, rigidity disturbance on a resonator I increases and thus the localization phenomenon of the mode becomes dramatic. Meanwhile, the two provided resonators with different structures employ differential detection structures; the differential amplification circuit is used for detecting the amplitudes of the resonators and eliminating feed-through signals, so that the signal to noise ratio of the detection signal can be improved. In terms of the testing circuit design, a closed-loop testing plane is employed. To be specific, a signal at a detection electrode passes through a trans-impedance amplifier, a subtracter, a band-pass filter and a comparator and then is loaded at an alternating-current drive electrode to form a closed loop; rectification and filtering are carried out on two paths of outputs of the subtracter and dividing is carried out to obtain a direct-current voltage signal reflecting an amplitude ratio of two resonators. With a closed-loop drive detection circuit, the amplitude and frequency noise of the resonator can be reduced.

A logic and control unit 24 averages the image density or voltage measurements, calculates the variations of the measurements about the average and the periodicities of the measurements, and if the variations or periodicities indicate mottle or banding is present, changes the operation of one or more stations to reduce mottle or banding.

The invention provides a high-resolution automatic beam detecting device and a method thereof, wherein the device comprises a housing. Two side walls of the housing are respectively provided with a scintillator fluorescent screen and a beam preventer which face each other. The housing is internally provided with a reflector and a CCD camera which is used for detecting light that is transmitted from the scintillator fluorescent screen and is reflected by a reflector. A finger type ionization chamber is inserted into the beam preventer. The finger type ionization chamber is connected with an electrometer. According to the device and the method, distribution and dosage of the beam for clinic treatment at an isocenter can be automatically obtained through one-time beam irradiation, thereby efficiently ensuring acquisition of daily QA data before clinical treatment, reducing pollution of an environment in a treatment chamber by residual beam, and performing a radiation protecting function accordingly. The device and the method can realize the detecting means and the detecting method for performing high-resolution imaging and beam and dosage verification and protection by QA equipment ina small-dimension irradiation field.
