A windproof LED street lamp comprises a lamp pole and a lamp holder arranged on the lamp pole. A mounting groove is formed in the face, away from a substrate, of the lamp holder, and a heat radiator is arranged in the mounting groove. The heat radiator comprises a heat radiator body, cooling fins connected with the outer wall of the heat radiator body and a heat transfer column connected with the inner wall of the heat radiator body. The heat radiator body is a barrel with a sealed end, and a clearance capable of containing the cooing fins is formed between the heat radiator body and the mounting groove. The cooling fins are metal elastic fins, a motor is arranged at the position, on the edge of the mounting groove, of the lamp holder, and the motor is connected with a connecting hole and used for driving the heat radiator body to rotate. According to the windproof LED street lamp, when the windproof LED street lamp works, the cooling fins are located outside the clearance between the mounting groove and the heat radiator body, therefore, the heat of the substrate can be emitted through the cooling fins, and heat radiation efficiency can be improved. When the windproof LED street lamp does not work, the cooling fins are contracted into the clearance, the area of the windproof LED street lamp can be reduced, and therefore the wind preventing function is achieved, and then the safety of the windproof LED street lamp is improved.
