The invention discloses a
nerve stimulator circuit based on rapid charge balance in a
mixed mode. The
nerve stimulator circuit comprises a main stimulation part, an
electrode short-connecting part anda short
current pulse part, the main stimulation part comprises a
current source and n pairs of output switches, and each pair of output switches corresponds to an
electrode; the
electrode short-connecting part comprises n short-connecting switches; and the short
current pulse part comprises a window
comparator, a
control unit, a compensating current unit and n pairs of selective switches, each pair of selective switches corresponds to an electrode, the
voltage difference on the electrodes is monitored and compared with safety
voltage VW, the output end of the window
comparator is connected with the
control unit, if the
voltage difference exceeds the safety voltage VW, a short
current pulse compensating difference value is interpolated, and monitoring and comparing are continued till thevoltage on the electrodes is less than the safety voltage VW. The
nerve stimulator circuit can still realize charge balance in a short time, and the situation that charge is accumulated on the electrodes, consequently, the electrodes are electrolyzed, and
nervous tissue is damaged is avoided under the situation of one-way large current stimulation or asymmetric two-way large current stimulation.
