An auxiliary device for proximal aortic
anastomosis in coronary
artery bypass grafting (CABG) includes a puncture needle, a puncture cannula, a
cutting cannula, and a ring compressor. The puncture cannula is fitted over the puncture needle, with a bulging ball at its tip and an annular groove at its
tail end. The ring compressor is fitted over the puncture cannula and can slide axially; its tip has a notched compression ring with an inner
diameter smaller than the outer
diameter of the bulging ball. During puncture, after the
aorta is penetrated, the ring compressor is pressed down, and the compression ring and bulging ball work together to clamp the puncture site, achieving a bloodless procedure. The
cutting cannula is then pressed down, and the
aortic wall within the compression ring is removed. The graft vessel is then anastomosed to the
aorta, with the suture passing through the compression ring. After suturing, the ring compressor is rotated, and the suture exits through the notch. The entire device is then withdrawn, and the suture is tightened and knotted to complete the
anastomosis. This invention avoids aortic clamping, eliminates the risk of plaque dislodgement, requires only a single port for
anastomosis, and is simple to operate with reliable
hemostasis.
