The method comprises the following steps: S1, arranging the displacement sensor to detect the position of a piston of the clutch booster through an induction pull rod; S2, recording the initial position, obtained by the displacement sensor, of the clutch booster piston; S3,arranging displacement sensors at intervals for a set mileage; obtaining the current position of a clutch booster piston, when clutch abrasion is judged, calculating the residual abrasion loss, the travel mileage of the unit abrasion loss and the residual endurance mileage, and when the automobile mileage threshold value is reached, outputting the residual abrasion loss, the travel mileage of theunit abrasion loss and the residual endurance mileage. According to the method, the service life of the clutch is predicted, the fault of half-way anchoring of the vehicle caused by insufficient experience or subjective judgment errors of a driver is avoided, and meanwhile, visual clutch use information can be provided for the driver, so that the driver can make a clutch replacement plan.
