The smart road lamp system comprises road lamps and RFID reader-writers, wherein control boxes are arranged on the road lamps, first GPS positioners, inclination angle sensors and single chip microcomputers are arranged in the control boxes, the front sides of the control boxes are provided with photosensitive sensors,stroboscope lamps and RFID chips, second GPS positioners are arranged in the RFID reader-writers, the output ends of the single chip microcomputers are provided with substation maintenance and management systems, each substation maintenance and management system comprises a data storage module, a fault analysis module, a fault processing module and a fault management module, and the connecting endof each substation maintenance and management system is provided with a master station controller. Maintenance workers take the RFID reader-writers to look for faulted road lamps according to positioning information, the second GPS positioners send the positioning information of the maintenance workers to the single chip microcomputers through the wireless modules when the workers arrive at the peripheries of the road lamps, the single chip microcomputers control the stroboscope lamps to send out lamp light alarm signals after receiving information, and the maintenance workers are reminded toaccelerate the maintenance progress of the road lamps.
