This application relates to the field of
laser processing technology, and more particularly to a method,
system, terminal device, and storage medium for detecting backlash. The backlash detection method includes: controlling a
laser cutting machine to return to its mechanical origin, executing a specific scribing program and initiating a reverse
grid drawing motion; using a vision
system to identify and measure the grid lines; and combining
image processing technology to calculate the mechanical backlash. This method eliminates the need for expensive third-party testing tools, is simple to operate, highly automated, and can quickly and accurately detect mechanical backlash. It adapts to the time-varying characteristics of backlash in the belt and synchronous
gear transmission structures of
laser cutting machines, meets the requirements for equipment error detection, reduces measurement costs, and eliminates
human error. The
system, terminal device, and storage medium provided in this application, being based on the backlash detection method, also possess the aforementioned technical effects.
