An intelligent side parking system is composed of an electromotor, a transmission system, an executing mechanism, a charge timing system and an outer cover, wherein the electromotor drives a reel which is arranged in the transmission system, a steel wire rope on the reel is driven to drag a slide plate which is arranged in the executing mechanism, the process of car parking and car taking is completed by means of a translational motion of the slide plate which is arranged in the executing mechanism on guide rails, the charge timing system also correspondingly completes timing and charging, and the outer cover is connected with the guide rails and matched or in parallel to road shoulders and curbstones. When a car drives toward the slide plate, after a driver starts the timing charge system, the electromotor drives the slide plate to move along the guide rails through the reel and the steel wire rope, thus the process of the car parking is completed. When the driver takes the car, after the timing charge system stops, fee is deducted automatically by the system, the car is delivered back and keeps static relative to the slide plate in the process of delivery, and no operation of the car needs to be carried out by the driver.
