Mold design with improved cooling

A mold is provided for use with a wheel-type blow mold machine, the mold being one of a plurality of molds for locating in a circular pattern on a wheel of the blow-mold machine and having a longitudinal direction for aligning tangentially with a circumferential direction of the mold wheel and a transverse direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. The mold has a first part and a second part. The first part has a first molding portion with a longitudinal end in the longitudinal direction of the mold and a first end portion adjoining the first molding portion at the longitudinal end of the first molding portion and having a free edge opposite the first molding portion, the free edge being non-parallel to the longitudinal direction and the transverse direction. The first part also has an outer cooling circuit located in the first end portion, and an inner cooling circuit located in the first end portion at a different location in the transverse direction than the outer cooling circuit. The inner cooling circuit is a split tube with a first passage of the split tube being for directing a cooling fluid to the first end portion and a second passage of the split tube being for directing the cooling fluid from the first end portion. The second part is separable from the first part and has a second molding portion.

Cylinder cover of natural gas engine

The invention discloses a cylinder cover of a natural gas engine. The cylinder cover is of a frame type cavity structure and comprises an air inlet passage, an air exhaust passage, valve seat ring holes, a saucer-shaped combustion chamber and a spark plug mounting hole. The frame type cavity structure comprises a bottom plate, side plates and a top plate, the air inlet passage and the air exhaust passage are arranged in the middle of a cavity and are respectively communicated with the combustion chamber via valves; the valve seat ring holes are respectively formed in positions among the air inlet passage, the air exhaust passage and the combustion chamber and are used for mounting valve seat rings and forming sealing strips for the heads of the valves; the saucer-shaped combustion chamber is in the shape of an inverted saucer, the size of the outer edge of the saucer-shaped combustion chamber is matched with that of the outer edge of a piston-cup-shaped combustion chamber, and the saucer-shaped combustion chamber and the piston-cup-shaped combustion chamber form an apple-shaped combustion chamber; the spark plug mounting hole is formed in a position between the air inlet passage and the air exhaust passage and is communicated with the saucer-shaped combustion chamber. The cylinder cover has the advantages that owing to the structural design of the saucer-shaped combustion chamber at the bottom of the cylinder cover, the radiating performance of the cylinder cover can be improved, and the reliability of a piston can be effectively enhanced.

Electrical housing having cooling and sound-absorbing means

An apparatus for enclosing a medium and/or high voltage unit connectable to an electric power system. The unit includes one or a plurality of electrical components and generates heat as a by-product during operation. The apparatus includes a housing including a main chamber housing a seat for holding the unit. The main chamber is arranged to house the unit. The housing includes at least one gas exit opening at an upper part of the housing and at least one gas entry opening. The housing includes a sound-absorptive gas exit chamber provided with the at least one gas exit opening. The housing includes a sound-absorptive gas entry chamber provided with the at least one gas entry opening. A first free heat convection path is provided inside the housing between the at least one gas entry opening and the at least one gas exit opening, via the gas entry chamber, via the main chamber and via the gas exit chamber, in order to provide cooling. Each of the gas exit chamber and the gas entry chamber houses at least one sound-absorbing member for absorbing sound produced by the unit during operation. At least one of the gas exit chamber and the gas entry chamber has at least one heat conducting wall and at least one free space provided between the at least one sound-absorbing member and said wall such that the first free heat convection path is provided inside the housing between the at least one gas entry opening and the at least one gas exit opening via the at least one free space.
