Systems and methods that may be implemented to determine the location of an emitter of electromagnetic radiation having an unknown location, using a cooperative TDOA-based location methodology. The cooperative TDOA-based location methodology (e.g., such as TDOA/TDOA, TDOA/FDOA, etc.) may be implemented using at least one cooperative transmitter that transmits a cooperative electromagnetic (EM) signal from a known location that is received at multiple different EM sensing platforms that are also each of known location. The known geolocation of the cooperative transmitter may be used to resolve the signal arrival timing relationships between the different sensing platforms that is utilized to determine the location of another EM transmitter of unknown location.

The charging system further comprises a primary power source arranged outside the fixtures for supplying electric energy (PS) to the power inlet of each of the fixtures, one or more second electric loads arranged at least partly within at least one of the fixtures and a solid state transformer system arranged within the at least one EVSE fixture. An oscillator comprising an RC oscillator and a bandgap reference source, wherein the bandgap reference source provides a reference current for the RC oscillator, and a temperature coefficient of the reference current is adjustable. Since the oscillation frequency of the RC oscillator has less dependency on a power supply, a clock source having a relatively precise frequency thus can be obtained; and based on the RC oscillator, the bandgap reference source having a temperature compensation function is added, the reference current generated by the bandgap reference source with an adjustable temperature coefficient is used for temperature coefficient compensation to the inherent temperature coefficient of the oscillation frequency of the RC oscillator, thereby reducing the effect of the temperature on the oscillator, so that the output frequency of the oscillator does not change with the temperature as far as possible, which improves the oscillation frequency precision of the oscillator.

A frequency compander for improving the frequency response of a telephone line when used for remote broadcasting. The inventive device comprises an encoder for compressing the frequency spectrum of an audio signal and a decoder for expanding the signal back to its original spectrum. Preferably the encoder comprises: an anti-aliasing filter; an A/D converter for digitizing incoming audio; a DSP for compressing the audio; and a D/A converter for outputting compressed audio to the phone line. The decoder comprises: an anti-aliasing filter; an A/D converter for digitizing the incoming compressed signal; a DSP for restoring the original audio; and a D/A converter for outputting program audio. In a preferred embodiment, encoding and decoding are performed in the frequency domain.
