Stent systems and methods for expanding and deploying stents in hard tissue such as bone, more particularly within a vertebral body. One exemplary method includes using a stent body that is coupled to a high speed rotational motor with the stent expandable and detachable from an introducer working end. In one embodiment, the stent is a deformable metal body with zig-zag type struts in an expanded configuration that carries diamond cutting particles bonded to the strut surfaces. The “spin” stent is rotated at high rpm's to remove cancellous bone from the deployment site together with irrigation and aspiration at the end of the probe that carries the stent. The stent may be expanded asymmetrically, such as with first and second balloons or by using an interior restraint, to apply vertical distraction forces to move apart the cortical endplates and support the vertebra in the distracted condition. A high force traction apparatus which operates along the cable linear axis with no cable bending. The cable is encircled with links from several looping chain drives. The links have a concave friction surface to match the cable radius. Rollers apply pressure to multiple links thereby providing a high normal force on the cable. A method and apparatus for stabilizing and lifting subsided slabs, flatwork, foundations of buildings or other structures, and, in particular, to the slab pier and bracket which are used in the repair and support of said subsided slabs, flatwork, foundations of building or other structures. The apparatus is advantageous in situations where extra support is needed for raising the subsided slabs, flatwork, foundations or buildings or other structures. In a specific embodiment, the subject method and apparatus can include a bracket, top piece, and pier column. A coin dispensing and storing device includes a coin distributing body (10), coin collecting tubes (20), a left rotatable support (30), a pivotal plate (40) and a right rotatable support (50).
