System and method for inserting content into an image sequence

A real-time system and method for inserting perspective correct content into an image sequence are presented. The invention inserts the content with the location, size, orientation, shape and occlusion properties that are appropriate for the camera view represented by the image sequence. Both static and dynamic content insert positions are supported. The location, size, orientation and shape of the inserted content are determined independently of the image sequence content. Furthermore, no knowledge of three dimensional real world space locations or real world measurements, as related to the content of the image sequence, is used during the content insert process.

Method and system for automatically determining differences in a user interface throughout a development cycle

A method and system for automatically determining the differences in a mobile device user interface throughout a development cycle. A test automation is run to exercise a target device's user interface. While the user interface is exercised, an extension is activated that takes snapshots of the user interface output at selected intervals of an automation execution. The snapshots are stored and uploaded to a server where snapshots of different automation executions are then compared on a pixel-by-pixel basis. The differences between snapshots are output in a visual format where the pixels that are different between snapshots are highlighted. The visual format of the differences between snapshots provides the user with a method to readily determine if errors exist in the user interface of the target device.

Optical scanning probe assembly

The present invention relates to an optical scanning probe assembly for microscopic guide optic scanning and inspection of tissues suitable for application in, e.g. in vivo medical inspection and biopsy. The assembly comprises an outer housing (3) comprising: i) a spring element for a scanning motor, the spring element formed as a hollow tube (5) adapted to receive an optical guide, the hollow tube having mechanical stiffness larger than the optical guide to be received, ii) a lens system (7) and iii) N means for deflecting (6) the distal end of the hollow tube in directions transverse to the longitudinal extension of the hollow tube, so as to form an optical scan pattern. The optical assembly is particularly advantageous as it increases the freedom to optimize the optical and mechanical performance of the system which is defined respectively by the optical guide and by the hollow tube. The probe can be used in resonant and non-resonant scanning modes.

Magnetic transmitter and receiver for a tire pressure monitoring system

A vehicle tire pressure monitoring system and method is provided, the system including a tire pressure transducer affixed to either the tire or wheel of a vehicle. An electromagnet system is in electrical communication with the tire pressure transducer, the electromagnet system configured to generate pulses and transfer a single bit of data to a sensor system on the vehicle body upon each revolution of the tire or wheel. The sensor system in turn transfers the received bits to an electronic control unit wherein the code is converted into a read out for the vehicle operator. One or more bits within the code may be redundant checking bits or bits representing the status of the pressure transducer or electromagnet system.

Information Handling System Integrated Device Actuator Monitoring

An information handling system integrated keyboard selectively retracts and extends keys based upon detected conditions, such as housing configuration, housing motion and end user indications. Extension and retraction shuttle plates motivated by actuator wires moves a sliding plate to extended and retracted positions that define the key positions. Nickel titanium alloy actuator wires shorten upon application of current to pull the shuttle plates to the extended or retracted positions that are maintained by a lock. Limit switches remove current at detection of a desired shuttle plate position. One or more controllers manage actuator wire operation based upon detected conditions and actuator wire temperature and electrical characteristics.

A recliner mechanism for a vehicle seat includes a toothed sector member secured to a seat frame and first and second pivoted pawl members each including a plurality of teeth to engage the teeth of the sector member. The first and second pawl members also each pivot on a cam pin member located at a distal end thereof, the cam pins each have a center axis and an offset axis having by a toothed cam lobe. The toothed cam lobes mesh such that rotation of one cam pin member causes the other cam pin member to totate in the opposite direction. A handle is coupled to at least one of the cam pin members to rotate the cam pin members and cause the pawl members to rotate about a pin connecting the proximal ends of the pawl members. The pawl members are movable between a first or locked position and a second or unlocked position, permitting the seat back to be adjusted with respect to the seat base against the force of a spring.

Demodulator, Chip And Method For Digital Demodulating An Fsk Signal

A demodulator, chip and method for digitally demodulating an FSK signal utilizing a digital data transfer protocol and a digital demodulator circuit have been developed. The data-rate approaches the carrier-frequency. The one application for this technique is in the magnetically powered wireless systems such as biomedical implants and radio frequency identification (RFID) tags with high data rates above 1 Mbps. The demodulator circuit extracts the serial data bit-stream and a constant-frequency clock from an FSK carrier signal in the 1˜20 MHZ range, which can power the wireless system as well. The digital demodulator circuit is implemented entirely with digital circuitry and is called a digital-FSK (DFSK) demodulator.
