With the construction method, the security of the construction can be guaranteed with no quality or security risk to the collapsed section. The materials required in the method are easily available and cheap. Compared with the traditional construction methods, the new construction method can save up to 30 percent of material cost, 50 percent of risk charges, and 20 percent of labor expense for each linear meter of similar collapsed tunnels. The method of invention is efficient, safe, economical and risk-free.
